Registration, grading and grant of license to hotels and lodges under the Pakistan Hotels & Restaurants Act, 1976.
Prescribed Form: Form F
Every hotel and lodge operating within Sindh Province is required to be registered with the Directorate. Registration, grading and grant of license are subject to fulfilment of the prescribed standards of accommodation, amenities and safety. The license is renewable as prescribed under the Act.

Attested copy of CNIC of Proprietor / Partner(s) / Director(s)
Attested Rent / Lease Agreement (or proof of ownership of premises)
List of staff with CNIC, qualification and experience
Medical Fitness Certificate of staff (Form “I”)
Fire-Fighting Certificate issued by Civil Defence
Pure Food Certificate (KMC / concerned Cantonment Board)
Rate List / Menu Card (duly signed and dated)
Rules of Establishment
Copy of latest paid utility bill (electricity / gas)
Sketch map / layout plan of premises
Photographs of bedrooms / guest rooms
How It Works
Procedure
1
Submission of Form F
The application on Form F, along with the required documents, is submitted to the Directorate.
2
Scrutiny of Application
The application and documents are scrutinised by the Directorate for completeness and eligibility.
3
Inspection of Premises
An officer of the Directorate inspects the premises to verify the prescribed standards.
4
Payment of Fee (Challan)
On clearance of inspection, the prescribed fee is deposited through the designated challan.
5
Grant of License
Upon fulfilment of all requirements, the Registration Certificate / License is issued.
