Registration & Licensing of Hotels

Registration, grading and grant of license to hotels and lodges under the Pakistan Hotels & Restaurants Act, 1976.

Prescribed Form: Form F

Every hotel and lodge operating within Sindh Province is required to be registered with the Directorate. Registration, grading and grant of license are subject to fulfilment of the prescribed standards of accommodation, amenities and safety. The license is renewable as prescribed under the Act.

Required Documents

  1. Application on the prescribed Form F
  2. Copy of CNIC of the owner / proprietor
  3. National Tax Number (NTN) certificate
  4. Ownership documents or tenancy agreement of the premises
  5. Site plan of the premises and list of rooms with tariff
  6. Paid fee challan as per the prescribed fee schedule

Procedure

1

Submission of Form F

The application on Form F, along with the required documents, is submitted to the Directorate.

Scrutiny & Fee

The application is scrutinised and the prescribed fee is deposited through challan.

Inspection of Premises

An officer of the Directorate inspects the premises to verify the prescribed standards.

4

Grant of License

Upon fulfilment of requirements, the Registration Certificate / License is issued.
