Registration & Licensing of Hotels
Prescribed Form: Form FRegistration, grading and grant of license to hotels and lodges operating within Sindh Province, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed standards of accommodation, amenities and safety.
Registration & Licensing of Restaurants
Prescribed Form: Form GRegistration and grant of license to restaurants and eating establishments, subject to compliance with the prescribed standards of hygiene, service and public safety.
Licensing of Travel Agencies
LicenseGrant of license to travel agencies and tour operators for the conduct of travel trade within the province, in accordance with the prescribed terms and conditions.
Certification of Tourist Guides
CertificationCertification and licensing of tourist guides upon fulfilment of the prescribed qualifications and requirements for professional conduct of guided tourism.
Inspections & Compliance
EnforcementPeriodic inspection of licensed establishments by officers of the Directorate to verify continued compliance with the prescribed standards under the applicable laws.
Complaint Cell
Public FacilitationReceipt and redressal of public complaints regarding licensed establishments. Complaints may be lodged in writing or through the contact channels of the Directorate.
Licensing Procedure
Applications are processed in the following manner:
Submission of Application
The applicant submits the prescribed form along with the required documents to the Directorate.
Scrutiny & Payment of Fee
The application is scrutinised and the prescribed fee is deposited through challan.
Site Inspection
An officer of the Directorate conducts inspection of the premises to verify the prescribed standards.
Grant of License
Upon fulfilment of requirements, the Registration Certificate / License is issued under the signature of the Controller.
